Monday: “Bodies at Rest” – Posted lesson/blog about a few tricks to grounding physical descriptions, quick cheats, how physical descriptions can amp up character development and how flaws/quirks can be a writer’s best  friends.  Keepers and throw-aways (and how both can be useful). Online Chat for any questions/feedback.
Student Assignment Given and Due via Email Tuesday.

Tuesday: “Bodies in Motion” – Posted lesson/blog about how to make sure the bodies you’ve created have the “stamina” to go the distance. Grounding physical scenes, quick cheats, what I like to call “the mental game” and avoiding cookie cutters.  Language, pacing, and the devil in the details.  Online Chat for any questions/feedback.
Student Assignment Given and Due via Email Wednesday.

Wednesday: “Crowd Control” – Posted lesson/blog on managing all those bodies in motion when you have a full room (i.e. parties, family gatherings, battle scenes, fight/bar sequences etc.)  Physical plotting, bridge scenes, and best writers tools for crowd control. How to keep it crisp even when you’re describing a mosh pit ;-)
Online Chat for any questions/feedback.
Student Assignment Given and Due via Email Thursday.

Thursday: All Feedback from Student Assignments will be sent back and (with permission), I’ll be highlighting some of the best examples received and talk about any specific issues or revelations from the work.  Open Q/A and Online Chat for any additional questions/feedback.
Hopefully, we’ll be addressing issues of context and style.
Friday:  Free-for-All.

One last posted blog/lesson on my own “lessons learned”.  And then: Any question anyone would like to ask me. Whether it’s tied to the topics we’ve covered or critiques they’ve received, I won’t set limits on the questions.  (although I reserve the right to limit my answers if it gets crazed.  ;-) )

Online Chat/Q&A and wrap-up.

Daily: Open Q/A and Online Chat for any additional questions/feedback.

See you there!
